Well my friends, ask & you shall receive!
I actually have to give credit where credit is due here. Jared is the one who originally found these delightful little books. One day I opened my front door to see that a package had been delivered for me. I tore it open to find my own little adorable recipe book & included with it were matching personalized recipes cards. A "just because" present. What an incredibly sweet surprise! He had found the shop on etsy, worked out all of the details with the shop owner, & between the two of them they came up with a recipe book that is a perfect fit for me & my kitchen!
Here is the charming little shop where you can get a custom recipe book of your own:
KatieKouture
Katie is the owner & designer & she is simply a gem to work with! I know this because upon receiving my own recipe book, I have since ordered two more as gifts to give to some gals in my life that enjoy cooking as much as I do. Katie is prompt in returning emails, she walks you through every step of designing the book {right down to the ribbon color}, & it goes without saying {but I'm gonna say it anyways}, her work is absolutely beautiful! On one of the books I was having made, Katie & I had all of the details lined out & ready for production, when she took one last note of something I had mentioned to her in an email-- that the girl I was having the book made for loves polka dots. All of a sudden I got an email back showing me THE most perfect polka dot fabric, in the exact perfect color I was wanting. I squealed I was so excited! She took an extra step to make a gift that I was giving to someone in my life so very special & personal. She has most definitely won me over as a fan & loyal customer & I'm sure once you do business with her, you'll feel the same!
Oh, there's just one more thing I almost forgot to mention...
I'm giving one of these babies away here on my blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
{how's that for an exclamation point overload? haha.}
That's right! One of my lucky followers will soon be the proud new owner of a custom made recipe book! You will get to work with Katie on making a recipe book that is custom designed, custom made, & custom you! You will also have your choice from several different designs of recipe cards that will match your book just perfectly.
Because I believe every girl needs some pretty little kitchen things.
So here are the two simple rules to enter:
1) Be a follower of my blog.
2) Leave a comment on this post telling me what your favorite go-to recipe is. You don't have to include the actual recipe. I just need the name of it. Now, with that said, I can't promise that I won't hit you up for the actual recipe at a later time. =)
**Okay, here's where it gets fun. I'm giving the opportunity for you to have TWO entries into the giveaway. All you have to do is spread the news! If you share this blog post--it can be facebook, twitter, email, a phone call, heck even if it's a letter to your grandma {see how strict I am?}, you will get a second entry into the giveaway. Just be sure to tell me in your comment that you shared the wealth!**
Winner will be announced a week from today! Good luck!
