Baby Girl Nursery

Here it is!  My little girl's nursery:

I really didn't spend much money on this nursery makeover. I changed the paint color & used mostly all of what had been used in Jett's nursery--the bedding, curtains, furniture, etc. I did buy/craft a few new items here & there to spruce it up & girl-i-fy it a bit, but I didn't go too crazy. I loved Jett's nursery & wanted to keep the same feel that his room held--the soft, calm, serene atmosphere & I think I accomplished that.

The open frame above the crib will have her name stenciled {in pink} inside it--once her name is revealed, of course.

A little station for all her girly accessories...

shoes, head bands, tiny jewelry, custom binkies--you know, the necessities.

And let us not forget the crown. What's a princess without her crown, after all?

The coming home gown--I am so in love with this little dress!

I found the inspiration for the little hooks in her nursery here. Then I purchased a board & pretty little knobs & handed the project over to my hubby. Didn't he do a great job? I think the hooks add such a delicate, feminine charm to the room & they create the perfect spot to display that beautiful coming home gown.

The beautiful mobile above the chair was a gift from my friend, Stacy. I had searched & searched for one that I loved & never found anything I just swooned over. Then one day, she surprised me with this! And boy did I ever swoon! I think it hands down, makes the room & pulls all the soft pinks & creams together. I love, love, love it. The sweetest part is that she's also the one who surprised me with Jett's adorable mobile back when I was designing his nursery. So it's kind of a little tradition we've got going on--& you know how I love me some tradition!

It's been neat watching this nursery come together--to incorporate some old, sprinkle in some new & watch the nursery I had dreamed up in my head come to fruition. We have created a space for our little girl that has been showered & labored in love & one she will call her very own, very soon.

Make way for the Princess!

    1. Thanks, Megan! Most of my friends are pretty surprised that I didn't do a full blown PINK room {I'm a little bit crazy about pink=)}, but I've always had my heart set on a neutral look. It just feels "right" for a baby room =)
